How we help

  • About 2 days after adoption

We’ll ask how the cat is eating, using the litter box, exploring the space and getting along with you and any other animals.

  • Any time

You don’t have to wait for a problem to get worse. Call or email us whenever you need help. +371 23077444 · remicentrs@gmail.com.

  • Questions about your cat’s behavior?

We’ll help you understand what’s going on and, if needed, offer a consultation with a cat behavior specialist. If it might be health-related, we’ll suggest a vet.

  • Everyday care

How to help a cat settle in, use a scratching post or meet other pets — it’s all in Cat care basics.

  • Always

If things still aren’t working out, talk to us. We’ll listen without judgment and will always take the cat back, no matter the reason or how long it’s been.

Their words, not ours

“I’m very happy with the shelter - it’s clear that the cats are safe and well cared for, especially when it comes to their medical needs. We decided to adopt a cat, and the whole process was smooth thanks to clear communication and guidance. The team was very kind, answered all our (many!) questions, and gave us helpful advice on cat care.”

“The best cat shelter I have ever seen! Super friendly staff members and owners. If you are planning to adopt a cat or just want to spend time with fluffy cats, this is the places I have adopted my little sweetheart almost one year ago from Remi Centrs, and they always support if we have questions or concerns.”

“The best shelter with the best people. I have my wonderful princess from there. Even in this shelter cats can feel already at home. It's a cat haven that brings change. They also helped me when my princess had a trouble with ears, and they were very understanding and not money hungry, cat is always the priority for them.”

Everyday tips for life with a cat

A few tips from Cat care basics. Select a highlighted phrase to read more.

Install sturdy pet safety netting on windows and balconies. Standard insect screens may not support a cat’s weight.

Even an independent cat needs playtime with you — balls and cardboard boxes will do.

Switch to new food gradually, and keep fresh water out at all times.

Vaccination matters for indoor cats too, even if they never go out.

Regular brushing can help you spot small wounds or parasites early.

Most cats learn to use a litter box quickly. Show your cat where it is.
