Where your help goes
Our clinic, Kaķa sirds, provides exams and treatment for cats. We also provide free care for pets of low-income families, seniors, and people facing hardship.
Our cats live in comfortable rooms while they wait for homes. They need food, litter, clean blankets, and sometimes special diets every day.
Before adoption, our cats are vaccinated and spayed or neutered when old enough. We’re here to help after they go home, too.

Mirella was used for illegal breeding, then abandoned. She had trouble breathing, diseased teeth, and eyelids that turned inward. She had surgery on her nose and eyelids, as well as dental treatment. After she recovered, we found her a family who loves her for who she is. Her story is one reason we encourage adoption.
Spend time with shy cats
You can help shy cats get comfortable around people. It takes time and patience, and often starts with sitting quietly nearby while a cat gets used to you.
